Ongoye Online – Editors Note

The new year has started on a good note as the registration process has been successfully concluded.  The academic programme of the University is well on track.  We welcome all first year students to UNIZULU and returning students back on campus.  A lot of positive activities and events have taken place to ensure that students are prepared and ready to embark on their academic journey ahead of them.  These include the Orientation programme and the University Official Opening Ceremony.  We have also launched our new Corporate Identity/Branding Guideline and we hope our new image will better represent who we are today and our aspirations tomorrow.

The University is doing everything in their power to ensure a conducive environment for teaching and learning is realised.  We welcome international students from Africa and the rest of the world.  We also welcome new staff members who have joined UNIZULU in 2014.  Notable are Prof Dev Tewari, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Administration and Law and Dr Kenneth Netshiombo, Director in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office.  You have made the right choice and we look forward to your positive contribution towards the growth of the Institution.

Let’s work together to ensure that we protect and safeguard the good image of our beautiful and historic University.
